The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases. Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1 more detail on this bulk operation: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/RFC-Operation-Spamzilla-tp3607474p3607474.html
Dear bug submitter! Due to the fact, that there are a lot of NEEDINFO bugs with no answer within the last six months, we close all of these bugs. To keep this message short, more infos are available @ https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/NeedinfoClosure#Statement Thanks for understanding and hopefully updating your bug, so that everything is prepared for developers to fix your problem. I can confirm that this delayed paste bug still occurs in the latest version of LibreOffice. Naturally, OpenOffice also has the bug and it has not been fixed for seven years. It is confirmed to affect 98, 2000, XP, and 7. It does not affect Linux. It does not affect Microsoft Office. Steps to Recreate 1. Open a clipboard viewer OR Google Earth. 2. Copy something from any LibreOffice program. 3. Paste into another program.
Also it may be related to this somehow: http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/13204/pasting-problem/
Version is oldest version where the problem is seen, not the latest tested on. Reverting change. Moving to UNCONFIRMED as this was never confirmed independently by the QA team.

Which clipboard viewer is that? Windows 7 & 8 don't have one. I used Karen's clipboard viewer: http://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptclpvue.asp I experienced no delay.
