Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to <http://www.libreoffice.org/> 2. Click "Get Help" 3. Click "Installation" Expected: find something concerning latest stable version Actual: only 3.3 mentioned Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20110928 Firefox/7.0.1 SeaMonkey/2.4.1
Of course it's a minor problem, I doubt that there are important differences, but at least it should be mentioned that the instructions also are valid for 3.4 @Florian: Please feel free to reassign (or reset Assignee to default) if it’s not your area or if provided information is not sufficient. That's something for the website@ mailing list, where our web editors lurk around ;-)
I believe it's sufficient to replace "3.3" by "3.3 and 3.4" in the texts.
(In reply to comment #3) > I believe it's sufficient to replace "3.3" by "3.3 and 3.4" in the texts. Did as much (and removed the version from the headline / main page), but I guess some more love could be applied, like adapting the screenshots, or ideally making them look version-agnostic (some manual pixel-touching e.g.)
> Did as much (and removed the version from the headline / main page) Good idea, very effective :-) > guess some more love could be applied, like adapting the screenshots, or > ideally making them look version-agnostic (some manual pixel-touching e.g.) I believe we should invest that time in 3.5 instructions, were we have some significant changes (at least for WIN).
IMO pages about Win and Mac already were clear about the fact that the info applies to 3.3 and 3.4. releases. Added some info to the page http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/installation/linux/ > fixed work for 3.5 (and maybe general pointer - dangerous) to parallel installing possibility on http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/installation/ may still be needed/desired later. New issue?
