Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. edit report 2. put rectangle 3. resize rectangle 5. crashes Current behavior: Expected behavior: Platform (if different from the browser): Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0 Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0
I can confirm it. I tested under win7 with LibO 3.4.4, additionally on ubuntu 11.10 with LibO 3.4.4 and opensuse 12.1 with LibO 3.4.2, crahs happens with any shapes inserted into detail or any other area of report design.
Created attachment 54871 [details] crash logs I reproduced the crash on 3.5 branch and master (future 3.6) on PC Debian x86-64. Hope the attachment may help.
In LO 3.3.4 it works. I have set the keyword "regression". It works also, when you don't resize with the mouse but with the keyboard in the properties of the rectangle. So I will change the title.
I have made some more tests: Reports, created with LO 3.3.*: No element (labelfield, textbox, shapes) could be resized with the Report-Builder in LO 3.4.*, LO 3.5.* and LO 3.6.*. The PC hangs, CPU at 100%. Reports, created with LO 3.6.*: Only shapes could not be resized by LO 3.4.* and LO 3.5.0. This version crash immediately. Shapes, created in LO 3.6.2.2 could be resized with the mouse in LO 3.5.7.1 and LO 3.6.2.2. Seems we could close this bug, because the behavior could not be reproduced in a current version of LO. When we close this bug I have to create a new bug-report for editing old reports with new versions of LO. Could you please retest this behavior with new reports and current versions of LO?
Have now tested it with a new created database of LO 3.3.4 - could not reproduce the behavior, that resizing is impossible with every element. So I won't report a new bug.
I test it in LibreOffice 3.5.6.2 on Win7 x64 and it look fine. Best regards Milan
