DOC file that imports incorrectly

This is a simple Word document in German. Some non-ascii characters with diacritics are imported incorrectly.

Abiword imports the file correctly. Compare the two screenshots.

LibreOffice 3.4.2 OOO340m1 (Build:1206) on openSUSE, but the same bug can be reproduced with OpenOffice.org 3.2 in Debian.

Was it created by Libre/OpenOffice or by real Word 95?

I think it has been created by some old version of MS Word a very long time ago, but I am not sure. Probably not OO/LO.

This file was saved by some OpenOffice and is corrupted. Genuine Word 95 documents are opening fine.
