Confirmed:
LibreOffice 4.3.0.1 rc
Ubuntu 14.04 x64

Minor - Can slow down professional work but not going to prevent you from being able to produce professional quality work.
Lowest - this really is a minor issue, click off of the box and then back on and everything is fine. I can't imagine this affecting many users (and thus 0 comments in over 2 years).

In the future please put reproducible steps in the bug itself and not in the attachment. Thanks!

For me there is no bug anymore.

Context menu entry "Default" doesn't exist in current versions of Calc. "Clear Direct Formatting" is available in context menu and it does what it should do.

Selecting "Default" style in the Styles & Formatting sidebar deck does nothing but that's not handled in this bug and the behavior isn't strange or different when selecting cell content and then leaving the cell or going to another part of cell content.

Closing as RESOLVED INVALID.
