Thanks for the report - on -3-5 here, only 111m of memory is used with this test document, I guess due to the backport of Arnauld's fix to -3-5:

Are you sure this is with 3.5.2 rcX, and not 3.5.1 or some earlier version? The above fix landed in 3.5.2rc1.

Apparently fixed in 3,5,2.
