Description Josef 2012-05-25 06:46:11 UTC
Problem description:

Steps to reproduce:
1. go to the libreoffice web site
2. look for a way to list bugs you filed before
3. When clicking on "Get Help" and "Bug" you are asked to file a bug

Current behavior:
you can only file a new bug

Expected behavior:
be able to search through existing bugs, list all bugs,
list a set of bugs, list a specific bug (from the web site).
I know Bugzilla can do all that,
but how do I get to that interface from the www.libreoffice.org web site?

Platform (if different from the browser):

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux i686; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0

get a bugzilla interface after submitting a bug report. But I really would like to get bug listings *without* submitting a bug report, after all my new bug may already be listed!

It's not a big problem, reporter gets a mail concerning his bug report with a link to the Bug report; clicking the link he enters the Bugzilla environment.

But indeed, it's not a direct way to the link on <http://www.libreoffice.org/get-involved/qa-testers/> under "Bug triage".

I believe the Bug submission Assistant should have a button what directly leads to Bugzilla. Most simple: <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/query.cgi?chfield=%5BBug%20creation%5D&chfieldfrom=-90d&chfieldto=Now&product=LibreOffice&query_format=advanced>

It that info is available for the assistant it might be interesting to start with a query listing all reporter's bugs (of last 90 days), in example for reporter josef.dalcolmo@gmx.net, what has to be replaced ion the Assistant by known User account data: <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/buglist.cgi?emailcc1=1&emailreporter1=1&emaillongdesc1=1&emailtype1=substring&chfieldto=Now&query_format=advanced&emailassigned_to1=1&chfield=%5BBug%20creation%5D&chfieldfrom=-90d&emailqa_contact1=1&email1=josef.dalcolmo%40gmx.net&product=LibreOffice>

So, you should be redirected to Browse interface of Bugzilla:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/describecomponents.cgi?product=LibreOffice&bug_status=UNCONFIRMED

BTW: You could follow also this link to see Most Frequently Reported Bugs in LibreOffice product:

So any chance we could add a link to the bug tracker when on https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/

That would solve this problem and should be rather simply to do.

Solved this. There is a link to bugzilla in the header of the BSA now.
