Description mikadoo42 2012-05-28 01:03:22 UTC
Hello,
I am a user from open office 1.0 and resizing the image is still a problem. Indeed, it is always done approximately because the scale is not locked so it deforms the image.

If you want to resize an image _and_ preserve its aspect ratio, you have to use the image dialogue and activate the "keep aspect ratio" checkbox explicitly before (because it is disabled by default at startup) or use the mouse + press Shift.

It would probably be best to preserve image aspect ratio by default, so that you would have to disable it explicitly (by pressing Shift or disabling checkbox). This is what users usually will want when resizing images, I suppose. At least I find that a bit counter-intuitive as well.
