Problem description: Formatting errors in read-only files, particularly read-only files with radio buttons. Inability to unlock password-protected read-only files. Steps to reproduce: 1. Get a password-protected read-only file with radio buttons (e.g. http://www.iwcc.il.gov/arbdecFORM.doc ). 2. Open it. 3. Try editing the fields. Enter the correct password ("IWCC" without quotes) when prompted. Current behavior: The formatting is messed up. (Note the lack of a radio button next to A. in the list midway down the first page.) You cannot edit the file, and there is no way to unlock it, even after entering the correct password. Expected behavior: Correct formatting, file becomes unlocked and capable of editing after the password is entered. Platform (if different from the browser): Windows 7 64-bit Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0.1
Please attach a different test document. Word does not need a PW at all, and LibO says the PW is wrong (Win 7 x64 LibO Version 3.6.6.2 (Build ID: f969faf))
Created attachment 78648 [details] Document The correct password is "iwcc".
Marking this as regression, because the password is not accepted at all in recent versions.
Using Mac OSX 10.8.3 with LibreOffice 4.0.3.3 the password isn't queried/prompted at all. When you resave the document to another location, it LOOKS like you can edit the page, but you can't alter that much. Some text can be deleted/altered, others (like the checkboxes can't). When I try to alter something (remove checkbox for example) a message appears: Readonly content cannot be changed. No modifications will be accepted Kind regards, Joren
I confirm above mentioned issues on 4.1.2.3 under Win7 64bit
Removing regression keyword as there is no version named when this last/ever worked. Feel free to readd the keyword when providing that information.

The document attached to the original bug report does not appear to be password protected any longer. Regardless, I tested with another document that is, and in LibreOffice Writer version 5.2.3.3, the issue no longer appears.
