Description Patrick Welche 2012-08-29 17:43:01 UTC
On NetBSD-current/amd64 with a freshly built libreoffice 3.5.6.2 as per

  http://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/current/pkgsrc/misc/libreoffice/README.html

I see the most astonishing behaviour the 2nd and 3rd character of every line are invisible:

Fire up libreoffice3.5, (javaPathHelper: not found), click on Text Document,
type "123456". What appears is

1 456

You can copy the 2 blanks where the "23" is meant to be, and paste at the end of the line, giving

1 45623

You can then delete the 2 blanks where the "23" is meant to be giving

1 623

The font doesn't seem to matter. It is the 2nd and 3rd character of every line, not just of every paragraph.

I don't see how those 2 positions can be special?

So I set status to NEW

Is this bug still present in 4.0.0.1 (or 3.6.5)? If not, can you please change the status of this bug to 'RESOLVED' 'WORKSFORME'?

Kind regards,
Joren

I no longer see this with recent versions of LibreOffice.
