Created attachment 72371 [details] Extra Open icon on Standard toolbar Problem description: In LibreOffice 3.6.3, one Open icon is present. In LibreOffice 4.0.0.0 Beta2 Calc and Writer, an extra Open icon is present on the Standard toolbar. This is a software regression. Steps to reproduce: 1. The operating system used is Linux debian 2.6.32-5-686 #1 SMP Sun Sep 23 09:49:36 UTC 2012 i686 GNU/Linux. 2. Start LibreOffice 4.0.0.0 Beta2 Calc and Writer. 3. Have a look at the Standard toolbar. This is not an issue on Windows 7. I am attaching the screenshots. Current behavior: Two Open icons are present on the Standard toolbar. Expected behavior: Only one Open icon should be present on the Standard toolbar. Operating System: Debian Version: 4.0.0.0.beta2 Last worked in: 3.6.3.2 release
no extra "open" icons in LibO 4.0 beta 2 from 31st december tested on Windows Vista 64bit. must be a Linux specific bug.
Thank you for reporting this problem. I also have no extra open-icons on LibO 4.0 beta 2 in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Can you please try to remove your lodev profile (in your home remove ./config/lodev/4) And then see if they still are there?

By the command rm -r ./.config/lodev/ I remove the user profile. I reinstall LibreOffice 4 Beta2. I do not see the two Open icons. I see only one on the Standard toolbar. This issue is fixed. Thanks.
