Description Larry 2013-01-02 16:58:28 UTC
There should be a way to open the spell check dialog to add words to the dictionary. The dialog does a spell check and closes without the user being able to work with the dialog. I suggest another spell check icon for manual spell checking. This would just open the spell check dialog to allow user modifications to the dictionary, etc.

This is an enhancement request to allow for the manual addition of terms to a user-defined dictionary. Severity set to enhancement. Component set to Linguistic. Platform set to All/All.

I can't confirm this report though as there appears to already exist a method for doing exactly this:

1. Press F7 to launch the Spelling and Grammar dialog.
2. Click the Options button.
3. Select a user-defined dictionary e.g., standard.
4. Enter new word.
5. Click New button.

Conversely, terms can be selected and deleted.
