Step to reproduce

open test file

cell B4 has a conditional formatting (you can try with different cell value 0 ; 6 ; 12)

Copy all sheet "feuille1" CTRL + A

paste in sheet "feuille2"

the cell B4 on sheet "feuille2" has no conventional formatting

the bug has been confirmed on LibO 3.6.4.3 and LibO 3.6.5.2

It works fine on LibO 3.5.7 and OpenOffice 3.4.0

So, I add the Keyword regression

Hello

With Version 4.0.0.1 (Build ID: 527dba6f6e0cfbbc71bd6e7b88a52699bb48799)
and Windows 7 64bits effects are not the same: the conditional formatting is copied but it is necessary to save the document.

If not, the application crashes when we recall the conditional formatting dialog.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the attached document (Sheet1 is selected)
2. Ctrl + A to copy the entire sheet
3. Select Sheet2, select A1
4. Ctrl + V to paste
5. Select B4
6. Format> Conditional Formatting> condition

Crash

Steps to *not* reproduce:
1. Open the attached document (Sheet1 is selected)
2. Ctrl + A to copy the entire sheet
3. Select Sheet2, select A1
4. Ctrl + V to paste
5. Save
5. Close the document
6. Reopen the document, select Feuille2.B4
6. Format> Conditional Formatting> condition

Ok

Regards
Pierre-Yves

Crash and copy&paste is fixed in master and I think 4.0.0.2
Comment 5 Pierre C 2013-01-26 16:29:30 UTC
Yes, no problem with 4.0.0.2. But problem is still present in 3.6 branch.
can we expect this bug to be solved in the last 3.6.6 ?
Comment 6 Pierre C 2013-03-21 20:06:40 UTC
This problem is still in 3.6.6.1

This bug was present in earliest bibisect version:
version 3.6.0alpha0+ (Build ID: 099198)

Distribution: Bodhi Linux

Updating version field to reflect this.

Also: Marking as WFM

The bug is fixed in both 4.0.2.2 release as well as 4.1 master

I can confirm that it's not working in 3.6 but:

@choffardet: I recommend you upgrade to version 4 if this is a really serious problem for you. A lot of work was done with conditional formatting and it looks like the decision was made not to port these to 3.6.

@Markus - you're probably the one that fixed these, if you feel like they can be brought into 3.6 please set to RESOLVED-FIXED and merge them into 3.6 :)
