Problem description: I have used severals versions, last was 3.6.5 official release. Yesterday I installed version 4.0. Now if I open Libreoofice and I check for updates on the extension manager I get an error: "http://updateexte.libreoffice.org/Extensionupdateservice/check.update no existe" Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Libreoffice 2. Go to extension manager 3. Check for updates Thanks. I´d like very much Libreofice. Sorry my bad english. Operating System: Windows 7 Version: 4.0.0.0.beta2 Last worked in: 3.6.5.2 release
Rainer - can you check this out in Windows, I can't confirm in Linux.
NOT reproducible with server installation of "LOdev 4.0.0.0.beta2+ - ENGLISH UI / German Locale [Build ID: 6738ae52bd075dc6478dedfeddc60d1c25cffcb)]" {tinderbox: Win-x86@6, pull time 2013-01-04 23:41:48} on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) with own separate User Profile: I installed Extension LT 1.9, checked all Extensions for updates, got correct message concerning existing LT 2.0 Reported URL gives message as reported, but I have no idea what leaded to URL Web Team: Does reporter's message "Extensionname: error: "http://updateexte.libreoffice.org/Extensionupdateservice/check.update no existe"" tell you anything? @Reporter: Can you please test your Extensions one by one (Rightclick, ...) and check whether one of them causes the problem (my only idea currently ...)?
I did a Wireshark protocol for Extensions Update test with 4.0.0.0.beta2, saw some access to 176.9.154.106, for "LT Language Tool" test successful access to 176.28.12.50, ... So currently here everything looks fine, let's wait for reporter's results concerning test for each single Extension.
Thank you very much by analyzing the bug I found. I tried to repeat the error again but now it works correctly. I have not changed anything and it didn´nt work for 2 days before i reported you the problem. Forgive the inconvenience, I do not know why this problem appeared and now does not appear.
