Description Cor Nouws 2013-03-30 23:14:12 UTC
The typical situation now is

- headers users
- outline numbering activated
- insert TOC
- looks like

  1This is first chapter
  2Next chapter

The user has to manually add a space in the 'Structure line' at the tab 'Items'
The desired result of course is

  1 This is first chapter
  2 Next chapter

Note: adding a space by default, has the undesired effect that, when no outline numbering is used, the result is as follows:

  .This.is.first.chapter
  .Next.chapter

(added dots to show spaces).

Less of a trouble then the first situation IMO :-)

Whiteboard: proposedEasyHack -> ProposedEasyHack
Comment 3 Joel Madero 2014-02-27 22:55:03 UTC
In order to limit the confusion between ProposedEasyHack and EasyHack and to make queries much easier we are changing ProposedEasyHack to NeedsDevEval.

Thank you and apologies for the noise

i would like to do this..any suggestions on where i might find the file where changes are to be made?
Comment 5 Cor Nouws 2015-03-08 20:20:23 UTC
@mridul,
No, sorry, not know. Maybe its easier to look at an easy hack with code pointers. That also gives certainty that a developer wants to look at it.
Cheers,
Cor
