Problem description: in Writer ,in Mac-10.8 montaion lion  LibreOffice-3.6.2.2,use chinnese input method ,when type in reaction is very slow  and the Dock is have some animate (also problem),it is also have same proble in LibreOffice new version 4.0.1,but in Excel is OK

Steps to reproduce:

Sure it is not the problem of Input Method? Give rime a try https://code.google.com/p/rimeime/wiki/Downloads?tm=2 希望鼠鬚管能幫你。

My advice, you may try using same font, via character from menu, and set the paragragh language as Chinese. tools- language
我的建議,你可以嘗試使用完全相同的字體(使用文字風格,抱歉,記不住了,我平時因爲中文界面太卡都用英語了),然後把整段、整篇文作中文處理——工具——語言裏。

PS: I use Simplified Chinese myself. 我自己只懂用簡化漢字。

Excel you meant Calc - spreadsheet 擴展表格 - 電子表格。

Still, not sure what cause this problem.

@Bug reporter: The version of this bug report is the oldest version of LibreOffice you can reproduce this behavior.
