Description Clemens Eisserer 2013-04-22 20:46:03 UTC
When using the "format pencil" on a text-box which contains a bullet list, applying the format adds additional bullets to an existing bullet list.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Select the textbox which will serve as the source for formatting
2. Press the "format pencil" button in the toolbar
3. Click on another textbox where the layout of the first box should be applied

I've created a screencast to illustrate the issue: http://youtu.be/I3e8kpU_aOE

The testcase-document shown there is available at: http://93.83.133.214/ApplyPencilBug.odg

Very strange - I see the behavior obviously from your screencast (although the mouse being hidden makes it much harder to follow ;) ) but I cannot reproduce with master build nor with 4.0.3.1 rc.

Any way for you to test RC release of 4.0.3 to see if it's been resolved for you?

Also in the future please always provide your operating system :)

I am unable to reproduce the effect indicated in the screencast using the provided example document. I opened it under Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64 running these LO versions:

- v3.3.0.4 OOO330m19 Build: 6
- v3.4.6.2 OOO340m1 Build: 602
- v3.5.7.2 Build ID: 3215f89-f603614-ab984f2-7348103-1225a5b
- v3.6.7.2 Build ID: e183d5b
- v4.0.6.2 Build ID: 2e2573268451a50806fcd60ae2d9fe01dd0ce24
- v4.1.3.2 Build ID: 70feb7d99726f064edab4605a8ab840c50ec57a

In all cases the behaviour of using the format paintbrush changed the bullet identifier as expected.

Hi, I'm unable to reproduce too under Ubuntu 14.04 and version 4.3.0.4. What is your operating system? Set as Needinfo - Sophie

I can confirm the bug is fixed in Libreoffice-4.4.1.2, while I was able to reproduce it with the previously installed libreoffice-4.0 before updating that machine to 4.4 :)

Thanks!

WFM is correct status as we don't know what commit fixed it. Thanks for the update!
