I can not change the effect property Direction to multiple slides at once.

When you select a lot of slides at once and create a Custom Animation with the Effect "Wipe", you can change START for all, but you can not change the property Direction.

Then you have to select one by one the slides to change its direction.

Thank you for your bug report, I can confirm this bug running LibreOffice 4.0.3.3 on Mac os x 10.8.3. Only the first slide has an effect and the rest must be done one by one.

Could be "effects" and not "slide":

In impress, if you write a text frame with X paragraphs and you apply a effect for move it.

Now select all effects and you can change the START field: click, later, ... but you can not change the DIRECTION for all it.

Version 4.4.1.2 Libreoffice.

You can not change direction at once in all lines.

In the attachment, you can open it, and now go to Custom Animations and select all three lines.
Now you can change the "Start" to "On click" or other but you can not change "Direction" for all lines at once.

Impress must see if all object selected in Custom Animation panel have got the same possible directions and then allow change all at once.

Same behavior in the version 5.3.3.2
This is an enhancement and not an error.
The first message confuses the word slide with effect (the english is a bad international language, esperanto is better).

Open the attachment file, select the text lines, in effects windows you cannot change the direction for the all group.
If the all selected items (text-lines or other widget) have the same property with same options, the program should allow change that property. More: if some options are equals then the program should allow change between that options.

Same behaviour in LibreOffice 6.0.4.2 Impress.
