Description ilikebigbugs 2013-05-11 12:04:57 UTC
atm when one double clicks on an item in the navigator nothing happens.
It would be nice if double clicking on an item in the navigator would select the item on the canvas.
Comment 1 Joel Madero 2013-05-13 15:50:57 UTC
Hm nothing happens? The document will go to that particular item in the canvas. For instance if you have Header1 - 5 and you go to navigator and double click on Header5, it'll take you to that page. It doesn't highlight Header5, is this what you're looking for?

Marking as NEEDINFO - explain a bit more of what you mean by "nothing happens" and what you expect to happen (ie. go to that location, or fully highlight it, etc...?)

Once you explain a bit more mark as UNCONFIRMED and I'll try to triage it. Thanks!

Actually I expect the same behaviour as you told but in Draw.
1. draw two rectangles
2. open navigator
3. activate "All shapes" in navigator
4. double click on one of the entries in the navigator
-> nothing happens (by nothing I mean NOTHING)

What I would like to happen is:
after double clicking on one of the entries, one of the rectangles should be selected (like when you click on the rectangle)

I should have looked at the component! my bad ;) going to triage now

In order to limit the confusion between ProposedEasyHack and EasyHack and to make queries much easier we are changing ProposedEasyHack to NeedsDevEval.

Thank you and apologies for the noise

Not a good idea to select by double click, it has to be a single click. But in fact that's how it works today (v5.3): double click selects the object.
