With LO 4.10 create a new sheet and enter a value wathsoever in a cell, let’s say in D5 enter “ok” enter in anoter cell e.g. G5 the formula “=D5” Now in cell G5 same value of D5 is displayed, i.e. “ok”. Now add a column between columns A and D, for example add a column between existing columns B and C. Former cell D5 is now E5 (still with value “NO”) and former cell G5 is now H5, still with formula “=E5” and display “NO” Change the value of cell E5, enetring for example “Yes”, formula in H5 is still “=E5”, but display has not been recalculated, and is still “NO”. Current behavior: Value displayed in cell H5 remains "NO" (the previous value of cell E5 Expected behavior: The new value "YES" should be displayed. It happens in windows XP, Seven, Linux Debian (Sid) and PCLinux OS. LO release 4.0.4.2 was not affected (at least in Debian Sid) Operating System: All Version: 4.1.0.4 release
The bug seems confirmed: http://en.libreofficeforum.org/node/6441
I have noticed the same issue, using libreoffice 4 some months ago, on Mac OS X. I think the issue also concerned version 3 and openoffice, I think I tried but don't remember. I have also seen someone on ubuntuforums having the same issue: http://askubuntu.com/questions/31303/how-do-you-refresh-formulas-in-openoffice-libreoffice-calc PS. (rant) I think this issue is really serious. I stopped using spreadsheet software for my science after noting this. AWK scripts or a full RDBMS should not be the most simple option in 2013!
scalc If I add a note in a cell I can't modify it size.
seems like bug information was changed here accidentally... this is definitely critical, since it causes display of erroneous numbers.
Eike fixed that already. SHould be in 4.1.1 or later. Please test with 4.1.1 and/or a 4-1 daily build.
