Description cptempleton 2013-08-30 09:48:49 UTC
I have twice encountered issues with saving LibreOffice Calc documents with many sheets. Adding and/or deleting sheets sometimes results in an error stating that the document could not be saved due to a "write error." Saving with a different filename gives the same result. Adding a new sheet infront of the others allowed the document to be saved normally. The documents were saved in .ods.

Component set to Spreadsheet. Can the original reporter confirm if the behaviour is similar to that described in this forum thread:

http://en.libreofficeforum.org/node/2138

i.e., is this the error dialog being displayed and does the problem only occur when certain sheets are moved to the first position? If you could provide an example file with instructions on how to reproduce the error it would be helpful. Status set to NEEDINFO. Once the required information is provided, please set the status back to UNCONFIRMED. Thanks.

The problem was unrelated to moving sheets and the error message was "write error" rather than the error message in the link. I'm afraid I don't have an example file to offer at the moment but I'll see if I can reproduce the problem when I have time.

Hi, do you still have this issue? and if yes, could you provide an example file for us to reproduce. Thanks - Sophie

Hi,
Do you still have the same problem with any of the currently supported versions - i.e. 4.1.6 or 4.2.4? If so can you reproduce the steps needed to reproduce this error? If the error does popup again, please do send us a screenshot/image of the error dialog.
