Description Paul Morris 2013-10-04 19:05:33 UTC
Problem description:
When using OSX keyboard layout "Dvorak - Qwerty %" the command-shift-Z key combination that should redo actions that were previously undone (like with command-Z), does not in fact redo them.

Steps to reproduce:
1. In OSX language/keyboard settings use "Dvorak - Qwerty %" that lets you type in Dvorak layout, but switches to Qwerty when pressing the command key (so that keyboard shortcuts are not Dvorak but Qwerty layout).
2. Type some text in a LibreOffice writer document
3. Press command-Z to undo
4. Press command-shift-Z to redo

Current behavior:
Command-shift-Z does not redo, there is no response

Expected behavior:
Command-shift-Z should redo what was undone with Command-Z.

Everything works fine in OSX'splain "Dvorak" keyboard layout, and in standard English keyboard layout. So it appears to be limited to the "Dvorak - Qwerty %" keyboard layout.

(A possible workaround would be to set command-shift-; as the key combination for "redo" instead of command-shift-Z. But this does not work since ";" is not an option when making a shortcut key. The ";" key in the Dvorak layout is in the same location as "Z" in the Qwerty layout.)

This may also affect other shortcut key combinations that include "shift" in this keyboard layout.
Operating System: Mac OS X
Version: 4.1.1.2 release

Hi Paul..just a ping since it's been reported months ago. Does it still happen in LO 4.2.5.2 or 4.3.0.2 ?

If resolved please change status to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, unless UNCONFIRMED
