Description Lukas Jelinek 2013-10-27 21:48:09 UTC
The current LibreOffice allows to install extensions manually (from files) and update them semi-automatically. Users must download the extensions using the web browser and the install them by hand.

Currently, there is only a link to the download site. It would be good to be able to install the extensions directly - to select them simply from a list retrieved from the server and displayed in LO.

Would be a good enhancement.
Comment 2 Stéphane Guillou (stragu) 2023-04-26 22:43:06 UTC
I think this can be marked as resolved since extension search has been integrated in the focused areas that needed it the most in 7.1: Templates, Icon themes, Gallery and Dictionaries.
See bug 133026.
Integrating the whole catalogue in one spot and duplicating the functionalities of the website is not desirable, in my opinion.
