Description jddcef 2013-10-30 11:41:01 UTC
Problem description:
Can't report feedback on http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/feedback/

Steps to reproduce:
1. Visit http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/feedback/
2. Fill in form, captcha, all fields
3. The page keeps asking for the captcha even though it's filled in.

Current behavior:
Captcha never accepted.
Expected behavior:
Page should submit my comment.

Ironically my message I was trying to feedback was:
"
Why is it so hard to give feedback on this project?

Help -> Send Feedback....
You might as well take that option out as it doesn't work, you have to login to some account which is a mission to remember the details for, so I'm not going to give feedback to improve the product. This makes me sad to see.

Cheers,

David

Evgeny, can you have a look please?

Testing on Ubuntu 12.04.3 + Chromium 28.0.1500.71

CONFIRMED: I'm unable to submit the form, regardless of whether I submit a correct or incorrect answer to ReCAPTCHA.

NOTES:
- I'm not logged-in to Askbot
- Checking/unchecking "I don't want to give my email or receive a response:" has no effect on whether the form is submitted

I have experienced something similar (but not sure if it is related) to this but with all javascript related items on the ask.libreoffice.org (which looks great, btw!) using Chrome Version 31.0.1650.63 m on Windows 7. I was trying to create an account with my Google ID to post a question but I couldn't (click and then nothing). So then I went to the feedback page to tell you I couldn't log in and then it wouldn't send the form (click and then nothing) and now, thanks to google... I'm here :P

In Chrome Inspector I get the following error messages for the other pages:

Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token . f353397c139d.js:16
Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined ask.libreoffice.org/:243
Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined ask.libreoffice.org/:298
Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined jquery.validate.min.js:2
Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined jquery.openid.js:1
Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined ask.libreoffice.org/:419
Uncaught ReferenceError: cleanUrl is not defined ask.libreoffice.org/:426

On the feedback page I get:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token . f353397c139d.js:16
Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined ask.libreoffice.org/:54
Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined ask.libreoffice.org/:108
Uncaught ReferenceError: cleanUrl is not defined ask.libreoffice.org/:126

Looks like a possible syntax error or JS library conflict?

I don't mind volunteering to help fix it if there is some way I can help.

Thanks for all the great work!
