English (US) is listed as the default CTL and Asian language under Tools - Options - Language Settings - Languages. This seems to be somehow caused by carrying over my user profile from 4.1 (and before that 3.6, etc.) -- when I tried with a clean profile, English was not listed there. Using Debian Linux, LibO 4.2.0 RC3, packages from TDF.
Please do not set your own bug report to new, wait for independent confirmation. Best regards. JBF
@Mihkel Tõnnov: Seems that we can do nothing with the provided information. In my opinion, this may be caused by, for example: * You installed the 4.1 DEBS, then you installed one lang pack. * Then you set the language to English. * Then you removed the 4.1 version and installed 4.2 RC3 version, and one lang pack. As such, in your user profile, the language settings was still English, althrough you have installed one lang pack. If it is not the case, would you please provide more information, e.g., what's special with your 4.1 profile, what special did you do? And, do you ever encounter the similar problem with the most recent versions? If all the recent versions are OK, I think this bug may be closed as WORKSFORME? Set to NEEDINFO for now. Please set back to UNCONFIRMED once you have provided the above information. Thanks!
