Description Diego Roncoroni 2014-01-30 10:35:54 UTC
Problem description:

Steps to reproduce:
1. Produce a chart from spreadsheet datas with an empty second row. Selecting data series in row and first row as label. The program selects the area for categories using first AND SECOND ROW.
2. The chart is apparently ok but when copying to any other application you get wrong results

Hope is clear

Confirmed for LibreOffice 4.3.3.2
(Sorry for using Debian Oldstable == jessie.)

What I did:
I have a calc sheet with county data: Names, size, atheism
A different sheet has rates of murders.
On a separate sheet, I collect all the data in one row. Some countries have no match, so there will be n/a values (from the vlookup function):

Name Inhabitants atheism murders
Examplistan 42.0 23 42
U.S.E.G. 23.1 12 #n/a
Thirdistan 8.38 99 44

I create a bubble graph, atheism = x axis, murder = y axis, county size = bubble size. In calc, these values will be ignored, as intended.

Then I copy/pasted the graph into writer. It looked similar, but not exactly:

»»»When there was a n/a value (at the y coordinate), it stopped copying the data in that column, a lot of values were missing.««« In the example above, the 44 would be missing.

Please, there is no point re-testing with a release from 2014. You can use an appimage with an old distro: https://libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com/
