Description pallavi.jadhav 2014-03-11 11:35:52 UTC
Steps reproduce :
1] Open attached .docx LO
2] File crashes

Current behavior :
When opened attached document in LO, file crashes.

Expected behavior :
File should not crash. It should open successfully.

Issue Description :
DOCX containing "Tables inside EndNote" causes crash.

NOTE : If only one Table inside EndNote then file opens up without any crash.
But if file contains more than one table OR table followed/preceded by text, then there is a crash.

bt with symbols on master

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I could reproduce the crash.

I attached the console logs + bt (from the first file).
Comment 5 Jorendc 2014-03-21 18:35:04 UTC
I can not reproduce a crash, tested using Windows 8.1 with LibreOffice Version: 4.3.0.0.alpha0+

@Julien, pallavi: you mind retesting?

Kind regards,
Joren

With master sources updated today (359c573d635335779e37fc6a25ddbf3fa7b2331e) I can reproduce the crash with both files.
Comment 7 pallavi.jadhav 2014-03-26 05:23:17 UTC
I can reproduce the crash for both the files.
Checked on build with commit id If271f02d99625ffa6fd418cf83307add7c09d802.

Can't repro crash on Win 7 64-bit 4.3.2.2 and today's dev build. Please retest.
Comment 9 retired 2014-10-06 10:25:54 UTC
OSX 10.9.5 LO 4.3.2.2 crashing on both files when opening.

Crashlog: http://pastebin.com/NZUi4KU2

Have fun.
Comment 10 Julien Nabet 2014-10-14 19:06:26 UTC
On pc Debian x86-64, I could reproduce the crash with LO Debian package 4.3.2.2 but not with 4.3 sources updated almost 2 weeks ago or master sources updated today.
The only difference I thought is the fact that I build with debug mode.
Comment 11 Juha 2014-10-15 04:31:26 UTC
LibreOffice v4.3.2.2 on Win 7 x64 does not crash at all but files are displayed incorrectly (if compared to MS Word 2010).
Comment 12 Caolán McNamara 2014-12-09 14:54:20 UTC
Neither docx crashes on master or 4-3 anymore
