Description James 2014-03-15 21:24:32 UTC
Copy (control C) withing current version does not "copy" or allow paste of text into Windows Writer Live. When the text is copied some applications (browser and notepad) will paste receive (control-v) the copied text. But Windows Writer Live does not.

Note that the previous version--before the last update--pasted text into
Windows Writer Live without a problem

I've never used such a product before. Do you mean https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Live_Writer ?
