Did you use official build from TDF or an Ubuntu package from a PPA? In the latter case it can be a packaging error. I could not reproduce your bug with LibreOffice 4.2.3.1 from the TDF download site.

The build I used is from the LO4.2 PPA (ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-4-2).

I don't reproduce this on pc Debian x86-64 with LO Debian package 4.3.3

However, I've got another bug, I can't add document, but that's another story...

Let's put this one to WFM.

If you reproduce this with recent LO version (last stable version is 4.3.5) + brand new LO profile directory, don't hesitate to reopen this tracker.
