Snapshot of what happens and my Calc default template

Hi all.
I'm using LibO 4.2.4.1 RC, but I saw this (minor) bug I'm reporting here also in others LibO 4.2.x releases. No idea of what happens on versios < 4.2.
My system: Windows7 64bit.
What I did: I created a default template (for LibO Calc) which is almost identical to one provided with the distibution, except that I provided it with Calibri 10 as default font instead of Liberation Sans.
What happens: when I open a (new) blank Calc file, the grid between 1st and 2nd line is not present (see the attached .png image).
However as soon as you click somewhere on the spreadsheet, the grid appears.
Not a major bug, but I think it is worth of attention.

Cheers,
Topoldo/Leopoldo Saggin

Hi Leopoldo,

You had a attached a .ods and not a png. :) But you are correct the grid line does not appear in Linux Mint with LibO 4.3 beta 2 as well. It appears in 4.1 and prior releases.

Sorry for the wrong attachment.
As fas as the bug is concerned: it is still present in LibO 4.2.5.1 on Windows7 64bit. I did not tested on previous versions.
Anyway, I bypassed this bug simply moving the cursor somewhare in order to have to have back the line. Then I re-saved this correct "blank file" as a template and I applied it as the my new default spreadsheet template, overwriting the previous one. This way I did not have anymore the lack of the line at the beginning of my LibO spreadsheet sessions.

and the bug is not here. I opened file Default_Calc.ots, grid between 1st & 2nd line exists. Seems to be fixed. Please could you retest?

Bodhi Moksha

Tested with:
4.4, 5.0, 5.1, 5.2

Can't reproduce this on any. Can we get new confirmation that the bug is present in a current build with a fresh/new profile?
Comment 11 Yousuf Philips (jay) (retired) 2015-12-23 06:01:30 UTC
Wasnt able to reproduce this on Linux or Windows now, but also not able to reproduce it on 4.1 on linux which i mentioned in comment 3, so maybe it was something that was present in ubuntu 12.04 but not ubuntu 14.04.
Comment 12 Joel Madero 2015-12-23 07:02:04 UTC
Closing as WFM then as we don't have independent confirmation at this point and have two experienced QA members unable to repro.

@Leopold - if you can still reproduce with 5.0 or later please set the bug back to UNCONFIRMED. Thanks!
