Problem description: 

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a .odt template with 2 first pages, one for title and one for toc, page number in footer, i, ii, style. Followed by Default style pages, starting with page 1, using 1, 2, 3 numbering.
2. Create a .odt (or .doc) from this template
3. Merrily write a multi-page report

Current behavior:
page 3           footer page 1
page 4           footer page 2
page 5           footer page 1
page 6           footer page 2
page 7           footer page 3

Expected behavior:
page 3           footer page 1
page 4           footer page 2
page 5           footer page 3
page 6           footer page 4
page 7           footer page 5

Please supply us with a sample template so that we can easily track down the problem and solve it.

It happens to me all the time, latest 4.2 but also fresh 4.3.
I have even seen page # regressing to 0 (zero) !

Fortunately, I found a work around that worked for me so far : save the document *close writer*, then reopen.
