Super simple SVG file.svg

"File"->"Open" any SVG file causes LibreOffice 4.3Beta1 to crash.

A simple SVG file is attached.

System:
Version: 4.3.0.0.beta1
Build-ID: 2e39c7e59c8fc8b16a54c3d981dceef27fb0c07f

Windows XP SP3 in Virtualbox

After [File -> Open] the svg opened in Draw O.K except text area was solid black.

When example SVG was inserted into Writer the text inside was visible.

Under Ubuntu 14.04
Version: 4.3.0.0.beta1
Build ID: 2e39c7e59c8fc8b16a54c3d981dceef27fb0c07f

I just opened bug 79112, as the reported problem seems to be much bigger on Windows XP. LibreOffice has the tendency to crash on all files trying "File"->"Open".

With the information of reporter_of_bugs@yahoo.com in commment 1 and the newly created bug 79112, I close this bug here as INVALID (because not only SVG cause the crashes).

Please note that winXP is endoflife. If you can update to a linux distribution or at least a newer still supported windows. thx.

@Foss: Thanks for the info. LibreOffice officially supports Windows XP so LibreOffice should work there. I use Windows XP from time to time in a VirtualBox and it does what I need; I have no need for another Win license. Otherwise I use Linux.
