Description achimskuta 2014-05-29 19:32:11 UTC
I'm editing a songbook with close to 600 pages and ~450 songs. No images used, no graphics. Plain text with tabs and a few (max. 5) format styles.

When I save the file, it takes ~20-30 secs on my i5 Dell with fast HDD. saving pdf takes a while, updating the ToC as well. It's a pain in the ass :-( For privacy reasons, I cannot add the songbook, unfortunately :-/

Unfortunately, without a sample file we cant do much to assist this as first we need to verify the issue and then a developer has to find out what the cause of it is. Maybe you can provide the document but scrambling up the text so its unreadable, by running 'find & replace' and changing the letters like 'a' to 'z', 'b' to 'c', 'o' to 'w', etc.
