A 12 page document created in word when opened in LibreOffice shows only 2 pages. Here's the details of the page, (unfortunately cannot share the file since it has confidential information) 1. File size: 4.25 MB 2. File extension: .docx 3. Total pages: 16 4. Total words: 4230 5. No. of pages appearing on LibreOffice: 1st 2 pages 6. Page 2 onwards there is a a header & footer on all pages. Header consists of an image (which is a logo), the footer has page no. on right side & few text on the left. The 1st 3 pages in the word document has tables, the 4th has some content, 5th page is the Table of content. 6th Page onwards there are pictures, words, tables, etc. Let us know if you need any additional details.
upload a test file otherwise removing sensible information (you can replace each letter with "x" in order to make it unreadable) otherwise it will be impossible to debug set status to NEEDINFO waiting for testcase

Created attachment 102759 [details] The test file open with MSO When open attachment 102742 [details] with MSO 2010, it shows 6 pages; But when open with LibreOffice (4.3.0.2), it shows only the first page. Set to new.
Attachment 102742 [details] opens file with Apache OpenOffice 4.1, so it's a possible regression.

1. Which version of Libre Office do you recommend to be stable version? 2. Any idea What object / content in the document causes this issue?
Bug confirmed on LO 4.2.4.2 Build id.: 420m0(Build:2) on LinuxMint 17 Cinnamon. Only the first two pages are shown (of attachment 102742 [details]) and even PDF export contains only these first two pages.
Seems LO 3.5.7.2, 3.6.7.2, 4.0.6.2 has same result with AOO 4.1.0 -> 6 pages (but TOC in page 5 not exist) Results worsened since LO 4.1 with varied results between versions. Tested on Ubuntu 12.04 x86

Version: 4.2.6.3 Build ID: 420m0(Build:3) I experience the same problem with other documents. Observation: What these documents share is the use of a version field on one of the pages that are shown. I assume that the bug is related to this version field.
Already fixed in 4.4 and 4.5 master. Unless it's already on the 4.3 branch and hasn't been released yet, a backport is probably unlikely this close to the end of the 4.3 lifecycle As it's not known which exact commit provided the fix, setting: -> RESOLVED WORKSFORME
