using Version: 4.2.4.2 Build ID: 63150712c6d317d27ce2db16eb94c2f3d7b699f on opensuse 12.3 i586 on duocore intel 3gig memory i have a spreadsheet with librebasic results. when i select the results and cut and paste into a newly opened (unsaved) text document Libreoffice crashes. the attempt to backtrace in KDE results with a message as follows: This backtrace appears to be of no use. This is probably because your packages are built in a way which prevents creation of proper backtraces, or the stack frame was seriously corrupted in the crash. this happens every time. on relaunch of Libreoffice and recovering the files, switching to the text document and re-pasting the information works. I was able to reproduce this endlessly. p.s. It only crashed when librebasic results were in the selection set.
We'll need the document that is causing the crash. Marking as NEEDINFO. For debug - you'll have to install the dbg package on your operating system. If you need help with this, please email the QA list. Thanks! Once you attach the document, please mark the bug as UNCONFIRMED and we'll try to reproduce. If your document has confidential information, please do a find/replace and randomly replace characters until it is not identifiable.
Created attachment 103451 [details] the attachement is a spreadsheet select the range of c2:d11. copy it to clipboard (ctl-c) pull down file menu select open new text doc. paste selection to doc. i just reproduced this on Version: 4.2.3.1 Build ID: 3d4fc3d9dbf8f4c0aeb61498a81f91c5b7922f13 it did the same on version 4.2.4 reported earlier. also librebasic doesn't need to be use, only a calculation in the cut section i.e.: "=c2*3.5".
No crash. Please test with 4.3 and/or 4.4 beta Win 7 64-bit Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: b144f0ac8695dd62a2053b4e88212d0b109c9a41 TinderBox: Win-x86@51-TDF, Branch:MASTER, Time: 2014-11-25_00:14:54 Ubuntu 14.10 64-bit Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 6b219f012edbe069c461f4e0746898e33fa1dd49 TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF-dbg, Branch:master, Time: 2014-11-25_21:56:46
