Description Bugcruncher 2014-08-21 09:48:24 UTC
Try a newly created Writer document with few text in a German Version of LibreOffice.

Try menu Edit: You will see <Strg+Alt+F> behind menu Item for "Find & Replace". But that will not work, this shortcut is for "Character -> Bold" (="Fett")

Check in Help: Under Heading "Tastaturbefehle für LibreOffice-Writer" you will find "Strg+H". But that will not work, either. This shortcut is for character position

Check in menu "Extras ► Anpassen ► Tastatur": <Strg+Alt+F>, but as told before the shortcut is for "Character -> Bold" (="Fett"). Some Conflict?

Current behavior:

Expected behavior:

Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.2.5.2 release

Hi Bugcruncher,
Are you still seeing the same problem with current builds of 4.3 and 4.4? If so, I'll try to track down someone to repro.

Status -> NEEDINFO

<Strg+Alt+f> now works fine, and Bold ("fett") now is <Strg+shift+f>

But Help (<f1> in Find and Replace dialog) still is wrong:
So greifen Sie auf diesen Befehl zu:
Wählen Sie im Menü Bearbeiten - Suchen & Ersetzen...
*Strg+H*
Klicken Sie in der Sybolleiste Standard auf ...

@Florian
would you please take a look at this one?

@bugcruncher: so help keyboard shortcut in Find and Replace Dialog is the only issue remaining? If so, we should probably update this bugs title.

Could you confirm this is still a problem with the latest fresh release of LO?

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists and change summary to reflect the remaining issue. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.

ctrl+alt+F: starts the F/R dialog
ctrl+F: shows the quick find toolbar
ctr+shift+F: toggles boldness (German: fett)
Tools>Options>Customize list these shortcuts correctly
ctrl+H: toggles superscript (German: hochgestellt)

=> WORKSFORME (I run LibO usually in English)

Translating shortcuts is what the documentation team loves (cc'ing ohallot).
