Currently running Crunchbang Linux and using the default Libre Office Writer. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open libreoffice-writer 2. Start a new document 3. Write a couple of lines of text, e.g. ----- start ----- A B C ----- end ----- 4. Scroll down 5. Text disappears To make it appearing again, you have to click in the page's header. If zoom is greater or equal to 200% the bug does not exist. The bug was not exist on the same Linux OS and Libre Office 3.5.
Hello Loran, Is it possible that this problem is caused by your graphics card drivers, as I cant reproduce the problem. If you are running the proprietary drivers, please try running the open source drivers and also try disabling compositing on your desktop environment to see if that helps. If none do work, please send us a screencast of the issue, so we can better try to replicate it.
