Problem description: HHi, first of all thanks for attention. From time to date versions of LibreOffice in my workplace have filed a feature, every time you send a document to print out perfectly but then 5 minutes the connection drops. Steps to reproduce: 1. The document prints and goes quite well. 2. 5 minutes is expected after printing without closing the document. 3. After waiting the connection drops showing only in the print dialog the generic printer. Current behavior: In view of the above, we are obliged to close all open documents and who are open to print again. Expected behavior: The expectation is that this problem does not exist and can be completed normally prints the document. Pleasantly await your response to my concern and grateful in advance. Operating System: Debian Version: 4.3.0.4 release
please give details of your printer (brand and model) moreover you are encouraged o upgrade to LibO 4.3.1.2 which has been released today and comes with more than 100 bugfixes in respect to 4.3.0.4
Hi Jonatha.. In addition to Tommy's question, you could also try disabling "PDF as Standard Print Job Format" in Tools > Options > Print From my experience, enabling that generates some issues. IMO using postscript, by disabling that option, is more reliable.
Hi all, thanks for your replies, I tried clearing the settings as standard PDF format and it did not work, here I send data from the printer to mention that as I had no problems with earlier versions of Libreoffice 3.5 down. HP LaserJet 1022n I'm descrgando the new version 4.3.1 to see if it is solved that problem. Thank you very much for your support
Envelope printing is terrible. Why so difficult? Standard #10 envelope, getting the damn thing to print in proper orientation and feed from the printer is taking me the better part of an hour. I've been using word processors to do this for decades with no problem in Windows and mac. Really pathetic.
