Opening the assistent/flyout with safed format-templates (F11) I can not get an existing format to get/keep the changes 
here: writer/table content Font 11pt ==> 10 pt: failed
new build derived formats seems to work

Yes we need more information, reproducible steps, your operating system and version of LibreOffice. Marking as NEEDINFO - once you provide the information please set to UNCONFIRMED. Thanks
