problem statement :-

i use libre ofce, windows7 os

if we insert data in table its missing when we press enterafter entering data in particular cell in to another cell.

steps to reproduce:-

step1: open libre ofce
step2: open presentation
step3: go to insert menu-->insert table with required rows and columns.
step4: after entering the data in the first cell of table, then i press enter to go for next cell, data in the first cell is missing..
step5: if we do mouse click for entering the data in next cell, its not missing but we press enter to fill the data in next cell then only its missing..

actual results:-

expected results:-

its should not missing the data

This is for me not reproducible with LO, Win 8, as described in the bug report.

If I press the Enter key I get to the next line in the same cell but not to the next cell. But in this case the entered text in the second line is not visible until you enlarge the table.
To come to the next cell you need to press the Tab key or use the mouse and this works for me a expected.

But is there maybe only a misunderstanding?
Does it really work for you to get to the next cell by using the Enter key? Or are you only entering text in the next line which is not visible until you enlarge the table?

If you do not mean the next cell, but the next line then I would agree if you enter text in a second line then the table row height should adjust automatically.

yes, it is not working if u press enter key,its goes to next line in the cell itself, not for the next cell. but automatically row height increases when we press enter in to next line and insert another text.

Hi, I think that what you would like is the cell to adapt and autofit the height of the text. Didn't find something similar, set as New. Sophie

I think it's not an enhancement, it's a bug, for me now (LO 6.3):

1. Create a table in Impress
2. Enter anything in first cell of table
3. Press Enter key -> cell increases its height
4. Click on another cell in same row and enter anything there
5. Press Enter key repeatedly -> cell doesn't increase its height
6. If you click out of table or inside another cell then cell increases its height
