when saving a document in doc or docx, the calculation inside a table is lost, no more formula exists inside a table and it is not possible to save changes of the surrounding lines of a table Systems Ubuntu 14.10 and Windows 8.1 both 64bit libreoffice 4.3.3 and 4.3.4
Hi, is it possible to get a copy of the document or could you run through a few steps required to recreate?

I got a response from Michael by email. Not sure what the problem responding is. This may be a bit obvious Michael but I just clicked on the link in the email then filled in the "additional comments" box after which I will hit "save changes: > Hello Tim, > > thank you for your quick responding. > > I send you two files in docx. > > The first file dosn't save mathematical functions inside the tabel, like sum, product. > > bug_sum.docx > > The second doesn't save the changings when want to get rid of some lines of the table. > > bug_sum_lines.docx > > > Michael > > P.S. It is not possible to respond directly to the message I got from you, so I send it to your mail adress
I have to admit I am still a little confused. I am afraid my knowledge is a bit lacking on this front :( Sorry to keep asking questions Michael but is it possible for you to guide us through how the calculations are added? Maybe we can try and recreate the problem.
latest info from Michael. I haven't had time to look at this so I'll leave it as needinfo: Hello, you should go on a field you want to insert the formula and hit F2, than click on the field with the entry (e.g. <E2>) and insert some addition or product. <E2>=<D2>*<E2> <E3>=<E2> <E6>=<E3>*1,19 <E4>=<E5>-<E3> I changed the format of the numbers to currency, because it should be a simple layout for billings. But they are lost with normal numbers as well. The thing with <E3>=<E2> is only because there are more tables with more products to add, and than there should be a sum of all together. If you got any question, just write a mail
Problem with sum stems from this specific Euro symbol used. If any other currency symbol is used, including Euro from LO, formula works fine and document can be saved in docx. Prerequisite is a proper decimal symbol (. or ,). Tested with LO 4.3.5 on Win7 x64 and Ubuntu 14.10. So, if a source of file and euro symbol is known, it may be investigated further. Diff. bugs should be filed separately, so if there's a problem with lines in a table, it it another issue.
I got a response from Michael by email. "I'm using Ubuntu 14.10, before 14.04. In both Distros the same thing, NOT depending on a specific € Symbol. Table won't keep formula when saving and reopening." Since we don't have the same results, I ask someone else to test also.
