When removing table columns, sometimes there is a leftover of previous content along the right side of the window (until window is repainted). That never occurred in 4.3.
I tried it and deleted several columns, but unfortunately could not reproduce it with LO 4.4.0.0.beta1 (Win 8.1).

I tried the Delete key, I tried Edit -> Delete Columns, I tried Backspace. NOREPRO -- couldn't reproduce the problem. Urmas: any suggestions on specifically how to repro? What version of Windows are you using?
