Description Andy 2014-11-23 12:41:08 UTC
Problem description: Write any formula that has a same cell twice as an argument.
When you double click it to edit it, you see colored borders around cells that are used as argument by the formula. If you drag a colored border to another cell, the formula argument changes accordingly. However, at this point, if you have dragged a colored border for the cell referenced twice in the formula, you should see the other colored border (that for the other reference) on the original cell, but you SEE NOTHING instead.
If you enter the modified formula, and double click it again, now the colored border that had disappeared can be seen again.
This inconsistent behaviour, which can be quite confusing when editing complex formulas, did not take place in older releases (although I do not know which is the first release to show the problem

Steps to reproduce:
1. create a new calc file. in A1 type any number; in B1 type any other number; in C1 type a further number of your choice.
2. In D1 type the formula "=A1+B1*A1", and enter it. Then double click on it; you will see colored borders on both A1 and B1. Finally, drag the colored border around A1 to C1; at this point, A1 has no borders around it anymore, but it is still referenced in the formula. This is incorrect
3. Now enter the modified formula, and double click on it again. This time, you'll see colored borders around A1, B1 and C1. This is correct.

Expected behavior: In previous releases, when you dragged a border of an input cell to edit a formula and change the referenced cell, if the original cell was a multiple reference, you immediately saw the colored border of the second/third etc. reference in the original cell.
This should be restored since it is the only consistent way to edit complex formulas.
You can imagine how this behaviour makes thing difficult to manage when you have complex formulas with a number of cells used as multiple references: editing becomes a nightmare.

I can confirm with Version: 4.4.0.0.alpha2+
Build ID: d273a60bfdbf9bb7623bed38667ec0647753157c
TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2014-11-20_03:05:21

Worked in LO 3.5, regression.
