Steps: 1) Open impress 2) Add a picture 3) Right-click on image and select 'Crop Image' 4) You will notice size information at the bottom of the dialog 5) Close dialog 5) Right-click on image again and select 'Position and Size' 6) You will notice size information also listed there All size related details should be moved to the 'Position and Size' dialog. Hi Jay, One could wonder why that settings/information has been added to the crop dialog in the first place ;) I would think there is maybe some convenience in case the user wants to crop and then realises doing something with the size is needed too? For example removing part, still keeping the size..
Hi, I would agree with Cor. The actual size information is useful in the CROP IMAGE dialog. But I am also wondering why this original size information and Original Size button is not also in the POSITION AND SIZE dialog. I would expect it also in the POSITION AND SIZE dialog. I don't know, but would it be bad to have it in both places?
In Writer, we have a dialog labeled Image and in it we have multiple tabs for various things, including crop. The crop tab from their was simply pulled out as is into its own dialog for impress. Maybe its more useful to add crop as a tab in the position and size dialog and label the entry Image similar to writer. Yes this is quite silly that the entry which has 'size' in its label has less size information than the entry called just 'crop image'.

So this does not answer the question why the information on the size _is_ on the Crop tab for already a long time. I remain with my idea that it's convenient and would just leave it as is.
Closing this as it is not that important.
