background striping when scrolling document

just upgraded to 4.3 on OSX 10.8.5 If the application background is any color besides pure white, It seems to get 'highlites' when I scroll the window.
The two colors are: the Application background, set in preferences and a slightly muted hue of same color. The second color is the same color toggled when LO loses focus. (i.e. toggling between open desktop apps)
The attached image, gives clear example of what is happening.

I don't see this under Win7x64. should be MacOS specific issue.
Comment 2 Alex Thurgood 2015-01-09 14:20:09 UTC
Not reproducible for me on master build

Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: 9dbac35b1e55c49b2f1e595f4dfe3437c3fedb58
Locale: fr_

OSX 10.10.1

unless I have completely misunderstood the setup.

1) Start LO
2) Open Preferences
3) Choose Appearance
4) Set Application Background colour to skyblue, click OK
5) Open Writer document, scroll down with mouse or keyboard - no overlay or shadowing.

@Dval : If what I'm doing is different to what you have done, please provide the missing information and detail clearly what it is your are doing.

That is almost exactly what I have done. I can confirm I don't see the issue in Writer.
I do see it in both Draw and Impress.
Hopefully bug is posted in correct place.

You didn't specify that it was Draw / Impress bug. Could you provide a sample document that shows the behaviour ? I have a feeling that this is a duplicate of similar behaviour noted elsewhere.

Attachment uploaded.
Also, I noticed that if I switch to another application, the entire LO UI gets a little lighter, a mild grey-out. In writer, the application background stays the same color. In both Draw ad Impress, the background changes to a lighter color. So, toggling focus of Draw, toggles the background between the two colors in the screenshot I posted.
