Description austn3 2015-01-14 21:43:51 UTC
I see that there was a bug request closed for this but no explanation was given other than "that's the way it is". It is something that excel supports and it is a lot easier than copying all of the data into a massive rectangle.

Thanks

It sounds plausible as an enhancement, so this will live in NEW until someone picks it up to work on it or decides to reclassify it
Status -> NEW

As of LO 7.3 it is currently possible to add multiple ranges in "By changing cells" field. You simply have to type ";" to separate each range. For example:

$D$8:$D$37;$E$8:$E$37

Contains 2 ranges $D$8:$D$37 and $E$8:$E$37.

I have just tested and it works fine. So this is WFM.
