Step to reproduce 1. First place sample ods file on the c drive / correct the link path on sample writer file by opening & editing go to edit menu -> links -> Modify 2 .Open the sample writer file named problem. 3. Break the DDe link - go to edit menu -> links -> break 4. Then save the data & reopen the file data become zero.

Already seen in the oldest commit of Linux 43all bibisect repo. Note for reproducers: it is important to modify the link first to point to the correct path. You can break the link immediately afterwards in the link editing dialog.
