Please try resetting the user profile, sometimes solves strange issues.

It's not the user profile, I also get the same as in the screenshot attachment 112562 [details].

After a bit of investigation about an option making the difference.

The responsible is:

Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice Calc/General - Use printer metrics for text formatting.

with it enable works fine.

When it is not activated, lets space for filter button.

In my opinion not a bug.

Please if you are not agree, reopen it.
