Description documentfoundation.bzgvo 2016-06-01 12:28:52 UTC
LibreOffice Impress hangs turning dark for a few minutes to about 10-15 minutes with the cpu running at 100% (soffice.bin) in the top command.

This happens whenever I change the template or try to copy and paste slides from another presentation into the current presentation.

It always resolves itself without crashing but the hang time can be quite long.

Does it happen with the templates that come with LibreOffice or only your own?
I don't repro the problem with LibO's templates on Ubuntu 16.04.

Can you try with 5.1.3 just to make sure?

Version: 5.1.3.2
Build ID: 1:5.1.3-0ubuntu1
CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: Linux 4.4; UI Render: default;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8)

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.

This is happening with templates other than the stock templates. But this happens just creating a new slide background color and trying to change the color to all slides.

I upgraded to 5.1.3 and it is still happening but the dark screen is not as bad as the previous version. It is correcting itself much quicker now but it is still happening.
