A specific printer can be assigned in File -> Printer Settings, but that change can not be reverted through the program. Can there be a "Default Windows System Printer" option added to the list of printers to reset the "settings.xml" to the default values? <config:config-item config:name="PrinterName" config:type="string"/> <config:config-item config:name="PrinterSetup" config:type="base64Binary"/>
From the UX POV it makes sense to be able undo actions such as the selection of a particular printer. "None" would be also an option as "Windows System Printer" is not welcome on Linux and macOS. Whether this is possible at all should be confirmed by devs. (Removing UX from the keywords.)
just a fine request.
Please add keyword 'needsUXEval' and CC 'libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org' if input from UX is needed.
